The GeoPULSE project will demonstrate synergies between existing and future Sentinel missions to derive a novel algorithm for rapid and reliable mapping of geothermal surface manifestations operationally.
GeoPULSE will provide the first operational product that captures the full variability of surface indicators of geothermal activity. Previous attempts at geothermal activity mapping focused typically on one type of surface manifestation, while being applicable in a single study area. A data integration approach proposed in this project solves these limitations by combining data from various Sentinel missions. By integrating cutting-edge methodology and state-of-the-art products into existing frameworks, the project will deliver maps that encompass surface manifestation diversity.
